Best in the Business: The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has received recognition as one of the nation's "best in the business" according to Smart Money, the magazine of the Wall Street Journal. The article, entitled "Sweet Charity", analyzing non-profit organizations took the top 100 charities, divided them into seven groups, and ranked them according to specific ratios. These ratios included the amount of total expenditures spent on programs; the percentage of public donations spent on fund-raising efforts; and annual savings as a percentage of total revenue. The CF Foundation was the stand-out leader in the health category.
